We are happy to give the court cases of the 2003 Atlantic net Intelligence C- ference, AWIC 2003. The convention used to be situated in Madrid, Spain in the course of may possibly 5–6, 2003, equipped in the neighborhood by way of the Technical collage of Madrid. AWIC 2003 aimed to be the rst of a sequence of meetings on internet Intelligence, to be celebrated every year, then again in Europe and the US, beginning in Madrid. It used to be born as an job of the lately created WIC-Poland study Centre and the WIC-Spain study Centre, bothbelongingtotheWebIntelligenceConsortium(WIC) (http://wi-consortium.org).AWIC 2003 was once supported with offers from the S- nish Ministry for technological know-how and know-how and the ecu community of Excellence in wisdom Discovery, KDNet. AWIC 2003 introduced jointly scientists, engineers, desktop clients, and scholars to switch and percentage their stories, new principles, and examine effects approximately all features (theory, applications, andtools)ofarti cialintelligencetechniquesappliedtoWeb-based platforms, and to debate the sensible demanding situations encountered and the recommendations followed. virtually 70 contributions have been submitted. After a initial assessment, 60 of those papers have been accredited to the convention and have been assigned not less than reviewers from the foreign software committee. Out of this 60, 33 have been conditionally authorized, and 32 of them have been nally accredited after the stipulations set via the reviewers were met, which ended in an recognition ratio of 45%.

Information collected by web servers and kept in the server log is the main source of data for analyzing user navigation patterns. Notwithstanding, knowing the most frequent user paths is not enough: it is necessary to integrate web mining with the company site goals in order to make sites more competitive.
G. its texture) to some defined classes is determined. The perception of an image requires a deeper analysis aimed at the determination of significant semantic features. Such features enable a further semantic image interpretation or a semantically oriented indexation when in images objects are retrieved that come from various diagnostic examinations or determine different disease entities. Due to the fact that the number of combinations of features that characterize images is by no way limited, it can be assumed that perception may refer the image to potentially unlimited number of classes.
This paper introduces a new application of the FIS-CRM model (Fuzzy Interrelations and Synonymy based Concept Representation Model) in order to define a mechanism to achieve the conceptual matching between the concepts contained in a web page and the implicit concepts in the user’s query, that is, the proposed system is able to retrieve the web pages that contain the concepts (not the words) specified in the query (called clustered organized conceptual queries in this paper). FIS-CRM may be considered a fuzzy extension of the vector space model that is based on fuzzy interrelations between terms (fuzzy synonymy and fuzzy generality at the moment).
