Increasingly, scholars examine the conflicts and different ideologies that shaped Cuban political culture during those years. ”1 Anarchists were one such group of dreamers. It is useful to explore Kapcia’s ideas on cubanidad and cubanía (“the political belief in cubanidad”) to understand the broader cultural and political Cuban contexts in which anarchists found themselves and which they sought to shape.
